Description of Chromalloy Oklahoma
Chromalloy Oklahoma (COK) was established in 1969 with its primary business being the repair of gas turbine engine components for the Department of Defense. The initial focus was on providing commercially viable aluminide coatings for the protection of nickel and cobalt-base alloys.
As many of the components returned from service, it became apparent their condition was such that they could be reused after suitable repair. This led to development of strip and recoat procedures for diffusion coatings and, finally, to the development of various repairs, both metallurgical and mechanical.
Chromalloy Oklahoma continues to be a customer focused innovator of technologically sound and cost effective repairs and manufactured components for the gas turbine engine market.
